Kyung Hee University at Seoul, Korea is seeking several qualified EFL instructors for the term of September,
2007 - August, 2009.
Qualifications
1. MA and/or above in TESOL, ESL/EFL Education, English Language and
Literature, Mass Communication, and or related fields.
2. At least 2-years of university teaching experience preferred.
3. Publication and/or presentation in ESL/EFL field preferred.
4. Applicants should satisfy the specified qualification criteria stated
in the Employment Regulations for Private Schools Law.
Salary and Benefits
1. Annual starting salary will be approximately 33,000,000 -35,000,000
won based on qualifications.
2. The contract period begins September 1, 2007 until August 31, 2009,
renewable for another contract term on good standing.

Responsibilities
1. 15 hours per week teaching load with overtime pay for additional hours
2. Teach Integrated Skills Courses, Professional English Courses, and
other English related special courses for credit programs and non-
credit programs
3. 3 office hours per week
4. Faculty meetings
5. Participation in all school activities
6. Professional development of career in the field of ESL/EFL education

5. One copy of each undergraduate and graduate transcript sealed
6. One copy of passport
7. A list of three references, one of which must be from your current
employer with contact numbers (must be signed, dated, and properly
sealed.)
8. Criminal record check (due to time constraints, this can be supplied
after hiring.)
9. 3 recent passport size photos
All documentation should be received by May 31, Thursday at the latest (Submission to different departments on
campus is NOT possible). Qualified candidates will be contacted for further interviews by June 5th, Tuesday.
